Prudence watches the household quietly, content to keep close but not quite ready for physical affection. She’s a classic tortie with a wary spirit—a survivor who made it out from the inside of a Lowe’s store with her kitten. Since rescue, Prudence prefers to stick close during mealtimes and will wind down in the room with the family after a long day. While she’s not comfortable being touched yet, she’s learning to relax when the setting is calm and predictable. Prudence thrives best in a home that’s quiet and filled with patience. She’s open to sharing her space with other cats, or a gentle dog who knows how to give her room. Young, energetic kids would overwhelm her sensitive nature, but adults who respect her independence will have the chance to see her slowly come out of her shell.
