About Garland
Garland is a reserved and gentle spirit who was left in rural Oklahoma as a puppy with her siblings and mother. Out of her litter, she’s the one who’s taken the longest to let her walls down—and sadly, the only one still searching for a home of her own. While Garland is timid with strangers and needs plenty of time to trust, she becomes incredibly loving and loyal once she feels safe. She thrives in calm, quiet environments and needs a patient adopter who’s comfortable letting her move at her own pace. Garland enjoys relaxing on the couch and explores the yard at her own speed, savoring a predictable routine. She is house trained, walks nicely on a leash, and might be okay with some calm dogs, but would need a careful introduction. Cat compatibility can be assessed upon request. Due to her shy, skittish temperament, Garland isn’t a fit for homes with small children. With time and patience, Garland will reward her adopter with a once-in-a-lifetime bond. Ready to fall in love?
