Citrus
AvailableCitrus is a medium-sized, orange and white domestic medium hair cat living in Cosby, TN. She’s an adult female, fully spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her coat is medium in length, and she’s been house trained. Citrus gets along well with other cats and dogs, but she prefers homes without children and needs a family that will let her be herself indoors.
About Citrus
Citrus has spent well over a year with the rescue after coming in with her sister, Clementine, both expecting kittens and barely a year old at the time. She’s now about three, still waiting, still watching, and ideally hoping to find a home with her sister, though individual adoptions are considered if you already have cat-friendly residents. Citrus is a semi-feral, hands-off cat. She’s comfortable living indoors among dogs, cats, and people, but don’t expect her to seek affection or tolerate petting—she’ll keep her distance and prefers it that way. Her future family needs to genuinely understand and appreciate cats as they are, giving her space to exist on her own terms. Citrus should not be placed outdoors or as a barn cat, as she deserves a safe, protected indoor home. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, FIV/FeLV negative, and entirely litterbox trained. Located in Cosby, Tennessee. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!

Citrus should remain indoors for her safety and well-being. She does not require outdoor space and thrives inside, where she can have her own corners and observe the household from a comfortable distance.
