About Westbury
Westbury is an American Staffordshire Terrier with a story that’s anything but ordinary. After being unfairly labeled "dangerous" in both Colorado and Wisconsin because of circumstances outside his control, he endured years in the Texas heat at a neglected rescue before finally landing somewhere safe. What you get with Westbury: a medium-sized, goofy, mellow dog who craves a soft couch and a loving family. He’s neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested, on preventatives, microchipped, house trained, crate trained, leash trained, and knows some commands. In short, he’s ready to move in. Westbury must be your only pet. He doesn't get along with other animals, but he’s great with children and all people. One important note: Westbury truly detests nail trims and needs sedation for them, though he handles it well. His adoption fee is fully sponsored. Westbury is looking for someone responsible to give him the break he deserves—and finally make him part of the family. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
