Toby is a large, sturdy Labrador Retriever/Terrier mix who’s searching for stability after losing his longtime home. At 5 years old, he’s well past the puppy stage but still eager to join an active walk or fall asleep at your feet. Fully house and crate trained, Toby enjoys car rides and is always ready for an adventure, as long as his person is involved. He’s had some turmoil—his original owners moved to assisted living—which means he’s experienced more transitions than most. Toby loves meeting people one-on-one and quickly bonds with those he trusts. Once he feels secure, he’ll be a loyal companion who wants to stick close, offer his protection, and give affectionate kisses.
