About Cappy
Cappy is a good-looking, happy-go-lucky dog with the energy you’d expect from a young Boxer/Pit Bull mix. He’s about 21 months old and weighs roughly 55 lbs. Found as a stray in Oklahoma City, Cappy quickly won everyone over with his friendly, playful style. He’s quick to greet new people and doesn’t shy from strangers; if anything, he adores attention and has a habit of tossing his toys in the air for fun. Cappy does well around kids and loves being part of any activity, so a home that includes him in day-to-day life and gives him plenty of exercise is ideal. He’ll need a securely fenced backyard and a meet-and-greet with any dogs already in the home—he likes other dogs, but his play style can be a little much for those who prefer it laid-back. In his current boarding situation, Cappy handles higher energy dogs well and is okay in a crate, though full house training isn’t confirmed yet. He’s good on a leash, especially with a harness. Cappy is neutered, vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He’s available for foster-to-adopt or as a foster if you’re local. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
