About Polly And Lucy

Polly and Lucy are 5-year-old Chihuahua sisters rescued from a breeder. Both dogs start out quiet and reserved, but it doesn’t take them long to warm up once they feel comfortable in their surroundings. They trust their humans quickly after that initial shy spell. Both have been spayed, are current on vaccines, microchipped, and have had dental care. Their sweet, gentle personalities and compact size (about 9 pounds each) make them easy to love. These two thrive with routine and gentle guidance. Adoption has a few requirements: adopters must live in the DFW area, be at least 25, have a stay-or-work-from-home lifestyle, and provide a home with a fenced-in backyard (apartments won’t work). Experienced dog owners are a must. Vet references and a home visit are part of the process, and a completed, approved application is required to arrange a meet and greet. What are you waiting for?
