This young mama was found wandering the streets of Nassau Bay — scared, alone, and visibly fresh off a litter. She was still lactating, but no puppies were anywhere to be found. When we called the number linked to her microchip, the only response was “no” and a hang-up. It was heartbreaking… but also the moment her real second chance began. Despite everything, Lola has opened up beautifully. With a little food, safety, and reassurance, her whole personality started shining through. She’s silly, sweet, and playful — the kind of dog who will run around with her canine friends one minute and melt into your arms the next. Once she decides you’re her person, she sticks to you like warm sunshine. She’s gentle, endlessly huggable, and truly just wants to belong.
