About Bernie

Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you. Bernie is a love bug who can't get enough snuggles—he’s always seeking a warm lap to curl up on. This go-with-the-flow, docile grey and white tabby prefers to patiently wait his turn rather than fight for attention, and if we had to describe him with a pop culture reference: he’s the dude. Bernie is the definition of a gentle soul—sweet, quiet, and surprisingly tolerant, making him easy to adore. He enjoys offering slow blinks of approval and searching out the sunniest spots in any room. If you’re searching for a laid-back companion who won’t judge (at least not too much), Bernie is your guy. Bernie is FIV positive. FIV is only transmitted between cats through deep, blood-drawing bite wounds. FIV+ cats can absolutely thrive in socialized, multi-cat homes, and they live just as long as other cats. If you have questions, we’d love to help. He is already neutered, vaccinated as appropriate, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for fleas and dewormed, and is microchipped. Bernie is patiently waiting for his forever home at Forever Home Feline Ranch. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
