This sweet girl is safely in Michigan after finding herself on the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter in Houston Texas. She was on that list ONLY because they ran out of kennels and needed more space. Since hitching her freedom ride out of the Texas shelter, she has been here at our facility showing off her amazing personality! EVERYONE who has met her here (volunteers) has fallen in love and we all wish we could adopt her ourselves! Jewels, aka “Big Momma”, is super sweet, Mellow, Potty trained, Great on a leash, and an absolute LOVE BUG! She has done very well with other dogs here, although we recommend a forever home with a docile/submissive male dog for best longterm results! Jewels also loves ALL humans she meets, including kids! She is projected to be about 2-3yrs old, she is fixed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped.
