Peanut is a sweet, silly Beagle mix who is just under 3 years old. With her short brown and white coat and her playful spirit, she stands out as a lap dogāeven if sheās a bit too big to technically fit. Sheās about 22 lbs and finds a way to squeeze herself into your lap for snuggles. Her foster mom adores her and says Peanut is both affectionate and funny, always finding new ways to make herself part of the family action. Peanut gets along with all the other dogs in her foster home and does well with cats, too. Her ideal adopter will live in the DFW area, have a fenced yard (apartments arenāt a fit), and work from or mostly be at home. Experience with dogs is a must. Applicants should be at least 25, vet references and a home visit are required. With a July 3rd birthday, Peanut is a Cancerāshe bonds deeply and loves being part of the group.
