Nutmeg takes her name from the warm, earthy brown spice with a sweet and nutty flavor. As the leader of the pack, she absolutely lives up to it. This silly, affectionate girl adores attention. She loves pets, happily melts into a good snuggle session, and will climb into your lap when she decides it’s cuddle time, all whilst serenading you with a loud rumble of purrs. When playtime begins, her inner hunter emerges. Whether chasing a ball, stalking wand toys, or spinning in determined circles around her own tail, Nutmeg brings enthusiasm to every game. Her cheetah-like brown tabby coat adds an extra element of spice as she jumps high, exposing her adorable spotted belly. She is eager to be where her humans are, yet independent enough to entertain herself when needed. She has not been tested with children or dogs yet, but her kind nature suggests she would do fine in a home with either–or both– as long as she has some quiet space to settle in while she adjusts. Born around September 6, 2025, Nutmeg is currently fostered in Southington with her siblings Fenn and Aveline. She will be available for adoption once she is fixed, up-to-date on shots, and has tested negative for FIV/FeLV (likely sometime in December).
