About Trish
Trish, also known as Nubben due to her missing tail, is a petite tabby with dramatic swirled markings. She started her journey outdoors caring for her kittens, and now she's learning to trust people on her own terms. At first, Trish is timid, but patience goes a long way—once she’s comfortable, she becomes affectionate, follows you, rubs against your legs, and gravitates to wherever the action (or food) is. She’s motivated by treats and isn’t shy about sitting at the table with you. While she doesn’t enjoy being held for long, Trish will settle in for brief shoulder cuddles, accept head kisses, and curl up to sleep on your bed. She’s independent and non-confrontational, showing a strong preference for male cats and doing just fine with dogs (especially the German Shepherd in her foster home). Female cats and loud, busy homes are not her thing. She’s very playful—expect evening zoomies and kitten-like antics even though she’s an adult. Trish does best with experienced cat owners who can give her time to settle and thrive. She’ll hide from new people but adapts with patience. Overall, she’s a quirky character looking for someone who can appreciate her independent streak and soft side. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
