Timmy
AvailableTimmy is a large, gray domestic short hair cat with an affectionate and playful temperament. At around two years and nine months old, he’s neutered, house trained, and has a short, easy-to-care-for coat. He’s vaccinated and currently in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Timmy’s diet needs to stay limited to Royal Canin SO Low Calorie to maintain his health, following previous surgeries, but he’s thriving on it.
About Timmy
Timmy is a two-year-old cat whose gentle, sweet personality makes him instantly endearing. He has a playful side but is just as happy curling up for affection, taking life as it comes with a laid-back, upbeat attitude. After arriving at FOCAS, Timmy tackled two major surgeries with the resilience of a rock star—one to clear tough bladder grit and another to prevent future urinary blockages. Thanks to a strict Royal Canin SO Low Calorie diet, he’s trimmed down from 19 lbs to a healthier 16 lbs, with a little more weight expected to come off as long as he stays active and keeps finding happiness in people, not snacks. Staff and volunteers loved working with him. His biggest need is continued support from someone willing to keep up this prescription diet—otherwise, he’s as easygoing and pleasant as they come. If you want a cat who delights in both play and connection, Timmy’s got the temperament and looks to fit right in. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
