Deegan is a very special girl. She is shy, but oh so sweet and resilient, too. Deegan was found in the median of I-87 aka the Major Deegan (hence, her name!) and survived for multiple hours before being rescued. It is suspected that she was tossed from a moving car. After all she has been through, she deserves the very best home. Deegan loves to play, and she loves loves loves to cuddle. She has a huge purr that is ten times her size. She also loves other cats. She would do best with a buddy and can be paired with another kitten or cat from For Animals Inc., or she can be a loving companion to your resident cat. Deegan will be shy at first, but once she feels safe, she will be happiest in your lap or snuggling on your chest. You will hear her playing with her toys even as she adjusts to a new environment. Deegan has tested negative for FIV/FeLV, she is spayed, and is about 4-5 months old as of December 2025. She is located in Astoria.
