Shadow is a gentle, shy little soul, still figuring out that people can be a source of warmth and patience. Born in May 2025 alongside her sister Sadie, Shadow’s first experiences with humans were difficult—she and Sadie were born outside to a feral mom, trapped in August, and spayed right away, which is why Shadow sports a notched ear. She’s learning that home can be quiet and safe, especially with gentle people. Shadow gravitates to her sister Sadie for confidence and does best when accompanied by a feline friend. She’s made noticeable progress: she seeks pets and affection, especially when food is involved, and lights up when chasing toys on a string. Shadow will thrive in a calm, patient household, ideally with Sadie or another friendly cat. She has started coming to greet her foster when he enters the room, building trust bit by bit. She’s looking for someone who understands trust takes time and enjoys being rewarded by tiny steps forward each day. Shadow’s vaccines are up to date, and she is spayed as well as Felv/fiv combo negative. Adopters should be at least 21.
