Kricket
AvailableKricket is a spayed, adult female with a striking orange and white long coat. She’s just shy of 8 years old and medium-sized, living currently in Wilmington, NC. As a house trained cat, Kricket is up to date on vaccinations and enjoys a quiet, low-stress environment. Her independent nature means she much prefers to be the only cat in the home.
About Kricket
Kricket came to Feline Matchmakers after a tough stint at animal control and a rocky shelter experience. She couldn't handle the stress of the shelter environment, but once treated for pancreatitis, she showed a big turnaround. Kricket has always preferred to be the only cat, ruling her space with confidence. She spent happy years in a quiet home, bringing companionship to her late adopter and her caretaker, but now she needs a new place to settle. Kricket’s ideal home is calm, with no other pets or only with animals that will leave her be. She appreciates humans who understand boundaries and can let her settle in at her own pace—she takes a few weeks to fully acclimate but is affectionate and will chat with you once she’s comfortable. Feline Matchmakers prefer a foster-to-adopt setup for her, making sure both she and her adopter are the right fit. All vaccinations are current and she is spayed and house trained. Fun fact: Kricket, born on June 17, is a Gemini—curious, lively, sometimes outspoken, and always unique. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
