AvailableLucius is a large, adult neutered male Domestic Short Hair mix in Santa Fe, NM. He’s about 3 years and 8 months old, house trained, and vaccinated, making him ready for a new home with the right cat-loving adopter.
About Lucius [and Chamisa]
Lucius came to the rescue as a kitten with his sister, Liza, after being found in a Santa Fe cat colony. He’s an active cat who’s bonded to other felines, especially Chamisa, Victory, and Topper, and he’s happiest in a home with cat companions. Lucius is known for poking his caregivers for treats and affection, and his curly tail is easy to spot. He does need someone patient who can help him gain confidence, as he’s shy with new people. He’ll thrive with access to a catio or a safe, enclosed outdoor space. Lucius is best suited to adopters with resident cats and will reward your patience with companionship in his own mellow way. Fun fact: Born September 11, Lucius is a Virgo—no detail escapes him. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
