That is why it is important that we remain indoors and up to date on our vaccines the remainder of our lives. It does not spread to other cats in the household like some people think. Sharing bowls, beds, and toys is fine. A lot of FIV positive cats are cuddle bugs and love snuggling up to their housemates and that is perfectly okay!
