This handsome shepherd mix is full of love, personality, and smarts. True to his breed, Granby is loyal, alert, and eager to please—always up for an adventure but just as happy soaking up affection from his favorite people. Granby is dog friendly and can be a little noisy and rowdy during playtime—he just needs more socialization and guidance to learn proper manners. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and very receptive to commands and correction, making him a great candidate for continued training. With his medium-to-high energy level, Granby loves long walks, playtime with his favorite toys, and a good chew bone to keep him busy. Despite his enthusiasm, he has no signs of prey drive and is content to relax when left alone, snoozing peacefully until you’re back. Granby is kid-friendly with all ages and thrives on human attention—he’ll happily lean in for pets and cuddles any chance he gets. He can be a little uneasy with a harness at first, but patience and gentle encouragement go a long way.
