About Cider

Cider is a 64 lb Carolina Dog in Oviedo, FL, who needs a new home. He’s four years old, sweet, affectionate, and thrives on play followed by snoozing with his head in your lap. Cider comes from country life and was a stray, which shows in his strong prey drive—he’ll chase anything the size of an armadillo or opossum, and he’s become unpredictable with cats. A cat-free environment is a must. Cider does great with other dogs his size and is happiest as a companion in a dog-friendly home. He’s comfortable with visiting children and welcomed guests. He follows basic commands like “out,” “off,” “lie down,” “come,” and “leave it.” He’s crate trained but prefers the comfort of a couch. Vaccinations are current, and he’s neutered.
