About Chaucer & Betty
Chaucer and Betty aren’t siblings, but you’d never know it from the way they stick together—two inseparable cats ready to start their next chapter as a bonded duo. Both are around 3.5 to 4 years old and searching for a quiet, adult-only home with no plans to add kids or other pets. Betty is the bold one. She’s always first to investigate new things, sometimes with even more interest than seems possible. Feather toys and wandering insects don’t stand a chance when she’s on patrol. She balances sass with a hint of sweetness, never turning down attention but always on her own terms. Chaucer is a bit reserved at first, but warms up into a bundle of affection. He loves to play and burrow under blankets for a good nap. His heart condition—a small hole detected when he first arrived—has been stable, requiring just a daily medication tucked in a treat and a straightforward low-sodium diet. He’ll need a heart ultrasound every year or two, but with his current care, his cardiologist thinks he can look forward to a long, regular life. These best friends are seeking a calm, consistent environment, and they’ll bring plenty of gentle companionship for the right adopter. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
