Spartacus
AvailableSpartacus is a medium-sized, gray and blue tabby with a mix of domestic short hair and tabby in his lineage. As an adult neutered male cat in Cookeville, TN, he is house trained, vaccinated, and has some special needs. Spartacus enjoys a quieter home and values having his own space, but can get along with respectful feline companions.
About Spartacus
Spartacus came from a tough start, arriving thin and struggling with a respiratory infection. Once a wary stray, he was drawn to kindness and fresh food left out daily, though the upheaval of his early days left him cautious about being picked up and skittish around crowded spaces. After some careful patience from neighbors and a trustworthy caretaker, Spartacus was finally brought inside, treated for illness, and neutered. Healthier and more confident now, he’s become a friendly soul who genuinely enjoys simple affection—a gentle petting and some one-on-one TLC with people he’s come to trust. Spartacus gets along with most cats as long as they respect his boundaries; however, mealtimes are tense due to past memories of scarcity, so he’s happiest eating without competition. He will do best in a quieter home, ideally with someone who values his need for personal space and privacy. While he might enjoy the company of another gentle cat, being the main focus of a caring adopter would suit him most. He’s house trained and up to date on his vaccines.
