About Dusty
This could be the start of something paw-some. Dusty and his companion Opal have made remarkable progress, blossoming into loving and loyal dogs since being rescued. With a generous donor offering up to $500 toward professional training for their new family, Dusty’s next chapter is set up for success. These two are especially recommended for a ranch or farm home, where their close bond could continue and their working instincts would shine. While both started out wary of people, they are now affectionate, devoted, and form strong connections with their humans. Notably, Dusty is both snake avoidance trained and an absolute star on the leash, showing intuition and care even in unexpected circumstances during his walks. At around 2 years old and weighing between 70 and 80 pounds, Dusty is in prime health—with a bright chestnut coat and a presence that turns heads. He is eager for a home filled with kindness and adventure, ideally with Opal by his side, but ready to thrive as a solo companion if needed. Dusty promises to reward your love with years of laughter, loyalty, and smiles—he’s simply waiting to meet his forever people. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
