Ru is a really special young lady who will bring endless love, laughs, and purrs to her new home. Ru has been through a lot, and will need patience from her new family. But once Ru trusts you, she opens up to be the sweetest and most hilarious cat. She purrs and plays for hours, really goes wild, and she's drop dead gorgeous to boot! Ru was dumped in the woods in a cardboard box along with her kittens, who were only a few days old. Happily, the box was found and we were able to rescue them! When Ru made it to her foster home, she weighed less than 4.5 pounds and was nursing 5 kittens! With love and care, Ru has now nearly doubled her body weight and is healthy with sleek shining fur. She has also come from being terrified of people to running to greet you at the door with her little scratchy meows. Once they were weaned and she was more comfortable, Ru became insanely playful with her kittens, basically kitten #6. Her favorite toys are ribbons and ping pong balls. Now Ru and her kittens are all ready to find their forever homes! Her kittens are at Fat Cat Cafe, and Ru will move into Fat Cat Books soon.
