About Shasta
Shasta has a lot of love packed into her small frame and is a lap cat once she feels safe with you. After recharging on her tower, she’ll let out chirps to announce she’s ready for some attention or back scratches. Rescued through a TNR program, she’s naturally a bit timid with new faces but absolutely adores running around with her favorite mouse toys. Shasta’s heart can be won with treats—a snack and a sprinkle of catnip keep her rolling in happiness. She was returned to rescue because of severe allergies in her previous home, and she’s searching for a spot where she can finally settle in. She’d do best with another cat in the house to help her acclimate. You can visit Shasta in Yucca Valley, CA at the lounge during open hours.
