About BobCat
Bobcat was left behind by his previous owner, but a caring neighbor made sure he got a second chance. No one knew his original name, so with his bob tail and the way his shadow resembles a wild bobcat, he simply became Bobcat. He’s a quirky, confident orange tabby who needed time to trust people. At first, he kept to his cat condo and would let folks know when he’d had enough attention with a gentle paw tap—no hissing, just a signal that his social battery was low. But once comfortable, he starts to follow familiar faces around, curling up nearby, and rubbing on legs, even doing a little “dolphin jump” stretch for pets. Bobcat does well with other cats who respect his space, and he sometimes gets playful with the kittens despite pretending otherwise. He’d thrive in a home as either a solo companion or with another mellow, independent cat. The unpredictable energy of young children isn’t for him—he’s better suited for adults or families with older kids who understand cat signals. Bobcat is looking for a person who recognizes the charm in his boundaries, and in return, he’ll offer loyal, low-key companionship and the occasional head-butt of approval. Ready to fall in love?
