Luca is a 9-year-old mixed-breed Shepherd from southeast Arizona, in the Pearce area. Once a bit withdrawn, he’s learning to enjoy life again—he’s already surprising his foster mom with playful toy grabs and more curiosity each day. Luca weighs around 45 pounds and has a short coat that shows off his blend of black, brown, and gray. With age, he’s lost some vision and hearing, but adapted well in a calm setting.
