About Horchata
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Horchata is on his way to becoming a striking, sleek black "panther" as he grows up. He loves occupying your lap and soaking up the sun on a window sill. Unlike some vocal black cats, Horchata is a bit quieter, preferring to perch on cat trees or atop bookshelves, where he can look down and watch over his domain. His curiosity and confidence shine as he explores high places and observes the world around him. Horchata thrives in the company of other cats and is often seen playing with his fellow black-furred friends, Tamale and Esquite. He does well with other cats and has previous experience living with a dog, although the dog's illness made him a bit cautious. Horchata hasn’t spent much time with children, but has been friendly with the kids he’s met. His playful, outgoing, and smart nature make him both energetic and affectionate—always ready for a cuddle. When bringing Horchata home, please set up a "safe" room to help him adjust comfortably to the new environment. This will help him feel secure and provide a place for him to retreat if he gets overwhelmed. Give this charming boy the loving home he deserves—he’s ready for his next adventure with you. Lets make it official, apply to adopt!
