About Nutella

Nutella is a brown tabby with short, soft fur and a gentle presence. Spayed and born in July 2021 (which makes her a Leo—no wonder she quietly claims her space), Nutella came from a managed colony in the Detroit Lakes area. She was brought in just before a harsh winter and has since learned the comforts of indoor life, growing steadily more confident and affectionate. At first, Nutella can be cautious around new people, but give her time and patience; her trust grows through routines, treats, and play. Once she settles in, she shows a friendly, affectionate side and gains confidence in approaching her people. Nutella gets along well with other cats—she loves playing with kittens and young cats in her foster home. For this reason, Nutella would do best either with another feline companion, such as her sister Zoey or their friend Punkin, although solo adoption is also possible for the right household. Her favorite game involves chasing a “Da Bird” wand toy, and she’s always enthusiastic about treats, especially canned pâté. Nutella is up-to-date on vaccines, negative for FeLV and FIV, microchipped, and reliably uses the litter box. Her transition to a new home will go best with a patient adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to let her warm up at her own pace. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
