About Nugget
Nugget made her debut in true Philly style, hanging out in front of a water ice shop and charming passersby for attention. She’s got an affectionate streak a mile wide—her foster family knew instantly she was meant to be someone’s beloved companion. Nugget came in underweight, but her sweetness never dimmed. She loves getting petted, purrs like an engine whenever she’s held, and settles into a warm lap until food becomes more interesting. Now at about a year and a half old, Nugget is lively and a little precocious, showing her playful side daily. She’s mostly gentle when playing but, like many older kittens, she’s still learning boundaries and might get a little carried away now and then. Her litterbox habits have been impressive; she uses both open and enclosed boxes with minimal fuss. Nugget hasn’t yet been introduced to other pets, so her comfort with cats and dogs is still in question, but her fosters plan to test those waters soon. After surviving a tough start on the streets, this loving cat is ready for stability and plenty of affection. If you think Nugget could be the missing piece in your home, now’s the time to reach out.
