About Nugget

Lets make it official, apply to adopt! Nugget's story is as Philly as it gets—she was discovered seeking affection outside a water ice shop, and her loving demeanor instantly won over her current fosters. Despite being underweight when first found, Nugget's gentle and sweet nature has been obvious from the start. She adores being petted and held, and her enthusiastic purring fills the room—at least until mealtime rolls around. As an older kitten, Nugget is playful and full of curiosity. She plays gently for the most part, but is still learning boundaries, much like other young animals. Her litterbox habits are already impressive; she's comfortable using both open and enclosed boxes with just a bit of guidance. Nugget hasn't met her foster family's resident cats or dogs yet, but those introductions are on the horizon to help determine her compatibility. After a rough beginning, Nugget is ready to leave her hard street days behind and is longing for a loving, committed family to call her own. If you're ready to provide a caring home for this resilient sweetheart, consider welcoming her into your life. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
