About Vera

Click apply to start the adoption process. Vera has had a rough start but continues to shine with her endearing personality and resilience. Rescued from a challenging environment with high ammonia, Vera lost her teeth young and her true color was hidden beneath years of stains—after her first healthy shedding, she emerged with beautiful, soft gray and white fur. Despite the uncertainties about her age and her tiny size, she spends her days napping and waiting patiently for her next meal, always eager to greet a friendly face. After arriving at the shelter, what worried rescuers turned out to be a determined, stable little cat whose needs were met by loving hands. Since then, Vera has blossomed into an affectionate companion in the community room, surprising everyone with her friendliness. She formed a special bond with Twizzler, a brown tabby with an equally unique look, and together they provide endless sweetness and comfort to one another, often curled up together. Vera and Twizzler are a bonded pair, calm and low-maintenance, and would make a loving addition to any home seeking gentle feline company. Vera is spayed, microchipped, and ready for her next chapter, with all vaccinations current. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
