About Prince

Prince is a total love bug. He’s happiest curled up on your chest or settled across your lap, and he’ll contentedly nap there for hours if you let him. Prince has a form of special needs that’s pretty straightforward to manage: he requires a high-protein, low-carb, no-fish diet—both dry and wet food—to prevent seizures. Extensive vet visits haven’t given any explanation for the seizures except that they disappear when he’s on his particular diet. Thankfully, his OTC food isn’t hard to find; Dr. Elsey’s cleanprotein chicken formula is his dry mainstay, and just 1/8th of a cup per day goes a long way. For wet food, Friskies or any no-fish variety does the trick, served twice daily. In return for sticking to his special menu, you’ll get constant affection and plenty of cuddles—he gives as much as he gets. Prince is litterbox trained and gets along well with other cats. He’s in Pensacola, FL, and is ready for someone to give him a lap to claim as his own. Click apply to start the adoption process.
