About Petey Ward Steele

This could be the start of something paw-some. Petey came to rescue along with his brother when they were just puppies. Both found loving homes, but Petey has recently returned to care and the kennel environment has proven stressful for him. Thankfully, he has dedicated volunteers who adore him and know what a wonderful companion he can be. Petey is currently rebuilding his confidence and may feel nervous with new experiences, but once he trusts you, he offers complete affection and loyalty. He relies on his people for guidance and reassurance, making him a great fit for adopters with some dog experience who can support him as he settles in. Petey is a fun-loving boy who has gone through obedience training and especially enjoys going for car rides. While he does get along with other dogs, a home without children would be ideal for him right now. He’s truly hoping for a second chance at a forever home where he can flourish. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
