About Bowie
Click apply and let the tail-wagging begin! Meet Bowie, an 11-month-old German Shepherd/pitbull/Australian Shepherd mix with boundless energy and a zest for life. As a high-energy pup, Bowie didn’t always have the structure he needed early on, but he’s proving to be a sweet, eager learner at the rescue. Agile and athletic, Bowie would thrive in a home where he can be your running or hiking partner—or perhaps even try his paw at agility or rally. He’s good with other dogs, though he’s working on approaching playtime with a bit more calmness. Bowie is looking for an active adopter able to keep up with his dynamic personality, ideally with children over 10–12 years old. He already knows "sit” and is brushing up on “place” and “down,” walks well on a leash, and absolutely delights in playing with toys alongside his humans. Bowie loves water, travels well, and just wants to share adventures with you! He comes to you neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and heartworm negative. If you’re searching for a spirited, loving companion ready for new adventures, Bowie could be your perfect match. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
