About Champ Athens

They are waiting with paws crossed! Apply now! Champ is a 3-year-old mixed American Bulldog and Labrador Retriever with a super fun personality! This 62 lb mush is full of love and absolutely obsessed with playing fetch. He enjoys stuffed toys but really lights up when a tennis ball appears—it’s when his playful spirit truly shines. Playing fetch is Champ’s greatest joy, and he’ll keep returning the ball for round after round. Champ also knows how to sit for treats, though he would rather earn another throw than a snack! Champ has lived as an indoor dog and is both house trained and crate trained, as confirmed by his former owner. He’s playful with kids of all ages but, since his playful style can get a bit rambunctious, he’s best suited to a home with older children who can handle rougher play. Champ does best with dogs his size or larger due to his strength and exuberant play style. He is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccines. Champ is ready to be your loyal best friend.
