About Cupid

Cupid was previously adopted but returned after not getting along with another male dog in the home. He's a lively, affectionate dog who thrives on attention—expect lots of tail wags and bouncy greetings. Sometimes, Cupid gets carried away when meeting new people, with a bit of jumping and mouthing, but none of it is mean-spirited. He’s simply a playful soul. New men can make him cautious; he’ll need a little time, patience, and positive interactions to build trust. Once he’s comfortable, Cupid softens into a goofy, affectionate companion who adores walks, fetch, and his toys. Cupid is clever, quick on his feet, and can be a bit of an escape artist—he's known for jumping fences and making a dash if doors are left open. A secure yard is essential. He was housebroken in his last home, though a quick refresher after time at the shelter might help. Crate time is fine for short periods, but boredom will have him hunting for ways out. He pulls on leash and will benefit from further training to learn polite walking. Cupid gets along with some other dogs, but he should be the only pet in the home. He is not cat friendly. Cupid is already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on preventative. He needs an active, patient person willing to give him plenty of structure and exercise. He’s a Leo—known for big personalities and devotion. Your new best friend is just one click away.
