Piggy is a 1-year-old French Bulldog from Estero, FL who's all personality. This compact pup, tipping the scales at around 20 pounds, lost his person recently but hasn't lost his spark. Spunky and reliably silly, Piggy has a lighthearted presence and plenty of charm, brightening any room just by being himself. He’s recovering smoothly from a cherry eye repair and is wrapping up his basic vetting, ready to join his new family by April 15. The rescue wants to see Piggy go to someone with previous experience with bully breeds or Frenchies, in a stable home with no housing restrictions. It’s important his new people understand the unique health quirks that come with the breed—and are ready for any future medical needs. He's open to the idea of having a social dog friend but will need further evaluation to be sure. His cat compatibility is unknown, so caution is wise if cats are part of the picture.
