Charity was abandoned in the parking lot at Dogwood Shelter when she was very pregnant. After about a week here, she had her puppies, 11 of them! Most of them have been adopted, but she is still here. Her favorite pastime is going for walks! While she does have a bit of a pulling habit, we're working on it together. With a little guidance, she is learning to walk more calmly on the leash, and I can see her progress each day. When it's playtime, Charity absolutely loves her frisbee!! Watching her leap and bound in the play yard is a pleasure; she's so enthusiastic and playful. It's clear that she's got a playful spirit and a zest for life. After some play, she's always ready for much-loved belly rubs. Charity does have a strong personality, which means she needs to be the only dog in her forever home. She tends to come on a bit strong with other dogs, but with the right family, she will flourish. Her loyalty and affection are boundless.
