About Callum

Callum is the definition of a velcro companion—this athletic, medium-sized Pit Bull Terrier wants nothing more than to be close to his person. You’ll find him sticking by your side, trailing you from room to room, and melting into you the moment you sit down. He eats up walks and does well in the car, and every outing is an excuse for him to flash those striking eyes (which draw compliments everywhere). Zooming around the yard is a favorite pastime, and he’s got the energy and agility to leap high fences or tackle an agility course with ease. Callum has made huge progress since rescue. Once nervous about doorways and head-shy, he’s grown much more comfortable as he’s learned what safety and trust feel like. Still, he’s at his best with an adopter who spends lots of time at home. He has some separation anxiety and a notable prey drive, so a single-dog household suits him—he thrives as the center of attention. He does not get along with cats. If you’re hoping for an extremely loyal, affectionate sidekick who’ll reward your attention with endless devotion, Callum might just be the one. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
