Mavis Mavis, at only 2.5 yrs old, has been given a hard deadline of dec 4, bc she doesn’t get along with other dogs and the shelter doesn’t want to deal with her ? this is a case of a completely deserving dog needing a certain home (without dogs) that is sometimes just harder to come by…and bc shelters are so overcrowded, time is not on anyone’s side. ?. Bc of the need to co-kennel sometimes, the first to be killed are those that aren’t fans of other dogs. We don’t know what happened to her that she doesn’t like them, but we respect it. And now, we want to simply find her a home without other dogs! That’s the least this poor girl deserves! And what we DO know about Miss Mavis? She incredibly sweet. She’s loving and seeks affection and being close. She loves to play and explore and would make the greatest hiking or camping buddy. She has such a fun loving spirit. She loves making her person proud and would probably really appreciate anyone that would work with her. But, more than anything, She loves life. She doesn’t know it’s about to end. And I’m sure, Mavis, like so many others, if she had someone that loved her enough to simply work with her, her fear could be overcome with confidence. But, meanwhile, you still get a totally adorable, happy precious girl that will love you to pieces, no matter WHAT. So, does t she deserve the same? ? In her videos, You can see how much she loves humans. But, in person, you can FEEL that. Mavis deserves to live her life showering her people in adoration and she deserves to feel the same. Please help us save this girl! She needs a home that will give her unconditional love and patience and understanding.
