About Mavi
Mavi is still hoping her family is out there. She’s a 3-year-old shepherd and collie mix, smart and spirited, always ready for new adventures. Mavi was part of a training program and absolutely nailed it—she crushes her crate time, is house trained, and politely sits and waits at every door before heading out. She picks up new commands quickly and takes pride in showing off what she’s learned. Yard zoomies with her dog friends are one of her favorite things, especially when there’s a big, male dog to romp with. Mavi weighs in at about 50 pounds, making her an easy travel companion for road trips and outings. She’s currently with her trainer in Massachusetts but can make her way just about anywhere for her forever home. Her trainer even offers a free virtual training session to help her keep up her progress post-adoption. Mavi gets along well with other dogs but isn’t suited for a home with cats. She’ll shine brightest in an active household ready to continue her training and give her plenty of room to run. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
