About Logan

Logan has watched the years go by at Castoff Pet Rescue—over six, to be exact—without attracting a single application. He’s a medium-sized, dark-coated mix of Black Labrador Retriever and American Bulldog, and while he might blend in at first glance, his personality shines for those who stop to look closer. Logan is about 8 years old and weighs roughly 55 lbs. He is housetrained, crate trained, and has completed a prison training program—he knows sit, down, heel, place, and leave it, and walks politely on leash. There’s an easy joy in the way he carries his Kong around the yard or gives gentle kisses. Logan tends toward loyalty and old-soul charm balanced with a hint of goofiness. His ideal home is one with kids 13 and up, no cats or small animals, and, preferably, a fenced yard. He’s selective about other dogs but may do well with a female dog after a meet-and-greet. Logan is neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, and he’s ready for someone to finally choose him. He doesn’t get along with cats or small pets and prefers a home where he can be the center of attention. Logan really has waited long enough. Make his next move the one that counts for both of you. Logan is best suited for homes with older children (13+), as his size and playful nature match well with teens who are used to dogs.
