Kaia PC is a 9 to 10-month-old Belgian Malinois and Mastiff mix, with a striking chocolate sable coat and a playful, goofy edge. She weighs around 47 pounds now but could fill out to almost 70. Kaia is happiest when playing with other dogs and would thrive with a canine companion to romp with. She’s not a candidate for homes with cats thanks to her strong chase instinct—it’s all part of her energetic, curious personality. She’s genuinely sweet at home and enjoys cuddling up with her people. Outside, she likes carrying sticks and exploring, but she sticks close. As a puppy, Kaia’s working on all the basics—sit, lay down, stay, leave it, and come. Like most puppies, she’ll occasionally nibble on something she shouldn’t, but she’s learning quickly and rare is the jump-up unless invited. Kaia does best around older kids, as her size and clumsy puppy energy aren’t a match for toddlers. She can be timid with new things, so she needs a family willing to guide her gently and give her the confidence to explore at her own pace.
