DOB: 02/11/2025, Date in rescue: 04/13/2025 Zayla and her sister Zara were born indoors because their mama Lucy knew that the neighbors house was a safe space. They are the 3rd litter that we are aware of. I loosely say that Lucy is an owned cat but owned only in name. Her "family" dumped her outside, never got her proper vet care, and doesn't even feed her. The sweet family that helped these beautiful girls decided Lucy deserved more and stepped in to help her. Lucy was spayed and vaccinated in April and is living her best "kid free" life. The girls are bonded so a home for them together is what we are looking for. Zayla is very friendly and people focused. She does have more opinions about things than her sister. While she will acclimate to a new situation, it does take her a bit longer than her sister. She also has been exposed to a small cat friendly dog. Mom was health tested and is negative for both feline leukemia and FIV.
