About Tundra

Tundra is the last of six dogs rescued from Universal mine after surviving nearly a week on her own. She was the toughest one to bring in, but now, with time and trust, she’s become incredibly loyal. Tundra still gets easily confused by new situations, and she’ll need patience as she settles in. She does best when she has other friendly dogs around to help her build confidence and feel safe. A securely fenced yard is non-negotiable for her—you’ll need to make sure there are no gaps she could slip through. Tundra’s adoption fee is $200 cash. Locals can pay by check with proof of residency. All her vetting is current: she’s spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on preventatives year-round. Her care has been thorough, with heartworm and tick-borne disease tests done for adult dogs. Tundra is fostered in Terre Haute, IN, and she’s hoping for a gentle, understanding adopter who values rescue stories like hers. Your new best friend is just one click away.
