About Charlie Aka Chicken

Charlie Aka Chicken started life on a busy highway—just 2.2 pounds, hungry, and frightened of cars, but rescued just in time. Since then, he has blossomed into a 35-pound, short-haired, apricot/beige terrier mix living with a foster and a pack of dogs, all of whom he's bonded with right away. Charlie gets along well with other dogs and is good with kids. He’s curious about cats, too, but never pushy. Every meal is a highlight for Charlie. He’s food-obsessed, not food-aggressive, and needs a slow-eat bowl so he doesn’t inhale his meals. He can be a little greedy if food is within reach, so feeding should be scheduled with care. Charlie is obedient—say "no" once and he listens. He is medium energy, playful, always happy to grab a toy or join his K9 friends at play. He’s social, affectionate, and loves being petted. His temperament is sweet and loving, and he’s house trained and well-behaved—superb for families or anyone seeking a devoted companion who just wants to belong. Charlie is estimated to have been born in mid-January 2024, which makes him a Capricorn—no surprise he’s focused and loyal. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
