About Romeo
Romeo started out wary of the world, arriving as a stray and unsure who to trust. He’s come a long way through patient rehab and veterinary care, transforming into a friendly, sweet, and social dog. At about 38 pounds and three years old, Romeo is playful without being over the top and especially loves hanging out with other dogs. Kids and adults alike earn his trust quickly these days, and he relaxes in a crate with the door open for naps. Obedience is one of his strengths, and he’s alert enough to let his family know about strange noises outside. Romeo rides calmly in the car and waits to be let outside when he’s on a structured potty schedule. He’s working on his leash manners and, while not food aggressive, tends to wolf down his meals. Toys are always a hit with him. Romeo will do best with a family that can give him plenty of attention, playtime, and daily walks. This affectionate dog is well past his hardest days—he’s ready to start a great new chapter. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
