Vaquita is a 3.5-year-old spayed female White German Shepherd who tips the scale at 60 lbs. She’s fully housetrained and crate-trained, but does fine left uncrated as well—just likes a crate handy for when she needs a break. She’s warm with adults and older kids if introduced properly, and if you visit her house, you’ll probably end up with a big dog in your lap getting and giving lots of affection. Cuddles, pets, and kisses are her specialties. Her favorite pastime is playing with toys—especially a ball or rope—and she’s always got something in her mouth. This girl needs daily playtime and stimulation. Vaquita can jump short fences, so she’ll need a securely fenced yard (tall only) or daily leash walks for exercise. She does not get along with other dogs or cats and needs to be the only pet; she reacts to other dogs even at a distance and can be vocal and strong in her reaction. She’s happiest as your solo companion. Car rides are no problem. She’s learned commands like sit, come, and roll over, and will let you clean her muddy paws, but nail trims aren’t her thing yet.
