Leia is about four years old and weighs twenty pounds. She arrived as part of a large group from a hoarding case and, as the most withdrawn of the bunch, she's the last of her friends still waiting for a home. There's been progress: after time and patience, some volunteers have managed to pick her up for baths, get her vaccinated, and even take her out on the leash. Leia tends to be afraid of loud situations and unfamiliar faces, so new environments will be a challenge. She needs a calm, quiet home, ideally with a secure yard, and an adopter who can give her ongoing patience as she adjusts. House-training will be an ongoing project.
